7 Secrets to Finding Joy in Your Journey

Even When You are Overwhelmed

You CAN Do This. And I’m Here to Help

Who Am I?

As a mom of 13, I have a lot of experience with all things motherhood. From the highs of watching our children take their first steps, or learning a new skill, to the lows of watching them suffer through an illness or a loss or the loss of our 5 children through miscarriage or infant death.

I have been through it all. And, I wouldn’t change a thing. Because each and every one of our children is a blessing! Even the ones that are no longer with us. They each have brought something special and unique to my life.

Throughout my Mom life, I have learned we all need JOY! But, Joy is hard to find in these times with all the hate and sadness in the world. True JOY can only be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Secret #1: Don’t take yourself too seriously – Life is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the ride!

Life is a journey, not a destination. That’s something that everyone needs to remember. Life is full of twists and turns, ups and downs. There will be times when you feel like you’re on top of the world, and there will be times when you feel like you’re at the bottom.

But no matter what happens, life is always moving forward. And it’s up to you to decide how you’re going to react to the things that happen to you. Are you going to let life bring you down, or are you going to enjoy the ride? It’s your choice.

Life is a journey, so don’t take yourself too seriously. Enjoy the ride!

Secret #2: Embrace your inner child – Let your imagination run wild and have fun!

It’s easy to forget how important it is to have fun. As we grow up, we often become bogged down by responsibilities and worry, and the things that once brought us joy start to feel like a chore. But it’s important to remember that playfulness and fun are essential parts of being human.

When we let our imaginations run wild and embrace our inner child, we open ourselves up to new possibilities and experiences. We may even find that the laughter and joy they bring can help us to cope with difficult situations.

So next time you’re feeling stressed or down, take some time out to play. Let your hair down, be silly and have fun! You’ll be glad you did.

But if we take the time to listen to our hearts, we’ll always find ourselves on the right track. Our hearts know what we need, even when our heads are full of doubts. They guide us toward our truest desires and help us find the courage to pursue them.

So next time you’re feeling lost or uncertain, just close your eyes and listen to your heart. It will never steer you wrong.

However, research has shown that taking time to savor positive experiences can improve our overall well-being. Whether it’s savoring a delicious meal, enjoying a beautiful sunset, or simply spending time with loved ones, paying attention to the present moment can help us appreciate the good things in life.

In addition to making us feel happier at the moment, savoring also has long-term benefits. Studies have shown that people who regularly savor positive experiences are more resilient and adaptable, meaning they’re better able to cope with stress and setbacks.

So next time you’re experiencing something good, take a moment to really savor it. You’ll be glad you did.

We’re all on our own journeys in life, and often times we find ourselves expecting certain things from the people around us. We expect our friends to be there for us when we need them, we expect our family to support us, and we expect our partners to make us happy. But the truth is that nobody owes us anything.

The people in our lives are on their own journeys, and they will do what is best for them, not what is best for us. So instead of expectations, let’s focus on enjoying the journey. Let’s appreciate the good times and learn from the bad times.

Life is a beautiful journey, so let’s enjoy it instead of expecting things from others.

New experiences can challenge you in ways that you never thought possible. They can help you to grow and learn more about yourself. And who knows, you might just end up finding something that you love.

The next time you find yourself doubting your choices, take a step back and listen to what your gut is telling you. You might be surprised at how accurate it can be. After all, it’s been with you your whole life.
